Paxum take a leaf out of RedPass book

I signed up for redpass today after seeing the free MasterCard, from my first email to plugrush for the promo code and my account being verified by RedPass took 1 hour. The same process with paxum took me weeks to sort out.
I also sent an email to RedPass support which they replied to in minutes.

Took me 10 mins to set everything up... I was thinking the same thing. Though I'm not sure if I qualified for the free mastercard, do you know how I see if I do that?

In my experience, the Paxum reps have always been very fast to respond and take care of things.

I use both Paxum and Redpass, both are great, but both lack check cashing service like http://epayservices.com/

All 3 use the same Mastercard, but the check cashing service makes the big difference because you can use it for all the programs that only offer checks and wires.

How long have you been using this service to recommend it?

How can they legally bank a check payable to you or your company?

Also, looking here http://epayservices.com/rates

Passport translation services? I am sure nothing bad could happen by sending them a scan of your passport to translate eh?......

This sounds like an accident waiting to happen.

They have been around for years. A lot of affiliates are using them for their check cashing services. Mainly European and Russian webmasters. In EU it costs like $20 to cash a check, they do it for $7. It's a lot faster and cheaper.

Paxum also needs copies of your passport or ID, it's a Mastercard 'know your customer' rule. Both use the same bank for their Mastercards.

To have them cash your checks you fill out their company name and address details in your affiliate account and you add your account number to it. So they cash the checks and know to which account to credit the amount.

So I'm looking at redpass website and it only lists two available means to deposit funds into the account - one is by wire for which there is $50 fee and the other is via Zombaio which is only available to business account holders... What's up with that?

Rebel D 04-12-2012 06:31 AM

Never had an issue with Paxum. Ruth is awesome and really fast to get to anything i ask. Even if it was a suggestion that i long forgot about she icqed me and told me they just put it in.
