particularly offensive spam
 

The last couple of days, I have been getting some porn-related keyword laden spam comments along the lines of

"ahole anus ash0le ash0les asholes ass Ass Monkey Assface assh0le assh0lez asshole assholes assholz asswipe azzhole bassterds bastard bastards bastardz basterds basterdz Biatch bitch bitches Blow Job...."

and right in the middle are 3 links with 'c***d p**n' (edited of course) pointing to three different sites - I haven't clicked the links, but I did google them and they do not seem to be cp by the search results.

The comments seem to all be coming from 188.40.247.195

While most spam comments I just delete without question, this seems particularly vile to me and worth forwarding to some sort of regulative agency. How do I go about reporting something like this?

Welcome to the internet, Spacedog. Just don't fight with the ICQ bots while reporting them.

So, your advice is what - just delete them and move on? You're probably right, I just feel that given the nature of the anchor text the appropriate response should be a bit more vehement.

Search the IP out man. Crusade against the ip tunnelers. Blacklist them to your spam filter. Call the Feds. Do you really think this is coming from someone's home computer? Do what you have to do is all I am saying. I just don't read SPAM, so it saves any innocence I have left..

Since you know which sites they are spamming, if it's not an affiliate link that's all you need to make their life miserable for a couple days.

Can you find an email address for them on their site? I bet they'd like to win a free ipod. Do they want special offers from any of these marketing partners? Yeah, I'm sure they want you to sign them up for all 250 mailing lists. I bet they've like to know about online education, go ahead and do them.a favor and submit their phone number for calls about online schools. Those helpful folks will call them three times a day for months to help rhem fund the right school for them.
