If you're thinking of getting ready for whatever apocalyptic scenario will hit your neck of the woods... Do it in style. Refurbished missile silos. I don't know about the underground fish and food farms though. Don't you need sunlight for that?

I've survived - what's the count up to now? - probably around 10-20 DOOMSDAYS in my life without lifting a finger. I think I'll risk the next one too as opposed to living in some hole in the ground and catching some disease that'll kill me from all the old, sick people around me down there.

Not to mention, that place(s) will be easy picking for a terrorist (ahem, the gov [sic]) to throw a bomb down the elevator shaft.

Don't the Russians and the Chinese already know where most of those silos are located? What if they don't believe the silo has been decommissioned? What if they are simply adding new locations to the list for targets and not removing old ones? In case of a nuclear holocaust, those Doomsday condos could be among the first targets to be taken out :)

what if it rains and they didn't properly install the air ducts to compensate for that? oops...

I couldn't afford 7 million so I bought a time-share unit instead. Now I'm praying shit hits the fan during my 2 weeks.
