Then I find a bunch more "GF" sites on their servers with scraped underage and stolen content... thought these guys were all webcams and all legit?

Send an abuse to them, they react pretty fast.

I think they've had issues with this for awhile now, could be wrong though.

WAYYYYY too much stolen content on Adult Empire sites for them to be completely unaware. Willfully blind at best.

I signed up years ago to that freeloading commie porn theft site and I still get their emails. Never used one fucking bit of "exclusive content" they sent me - never sent one fucking hit to them. They send crap to me via email that scares the shit out of me.

Never been able to close my account or get off their mailing list. Never got one fucking response from the thieves.
