fris & other WP experts. Best auto (inter)linking plugin?
 

when you write posts, words in that post that match other post titles have to automatically link to that post. It has to work for old post too.
Example, post 1 has word 'help' in the body.
Then when i write the 20th post or something titled 'help', the 'help' text in post 1 has to link to that post automatically. (edit: retroactive was the word i was trying to come up with!)

Plus when 'help' is 3 times in the body, only 1 auto links.

Comments say it doesn't work with WP 3.3.1, and that it's kind of a commercial for the paid version: this free one keeps all the bugs.

This looks perfect so far. As well as the relat.ed posts function in it. Only con is the remarks in the comments that it causes alot of server load, don't want it to eat up all server resources once the site is as big as i'm planning it to be.

I use KB Linker. It's not packed with features but it lets you predefine terms that will link to specific URLs, and it works on previous posts.

I can see the kind of linking you are talking about.

"What is new?" links to /#new.

"Seo Smart Links" links to /seo-smart-links

This kind of linking probably does make sense for search engines and users.

Just tried that seo smart links, doesn't seem to do anything at all. Strange.

I like the idea of syncing the settings over multiple sites - that's something I'm after. But $299? That's a fair bit of cash for this type of plugin.

Edit: I should have tested it further. It links to wrong/non existant posts for some reason. Might be worth playing with though.
