R.I.P Cisco :(
|
eh why'd i look at this thread, this shit pisses me off.
|
isnt it funny they never find that the officers did anything wrong.
Here is another that will really piss you off http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn...061903175.html One thing I will say my dogs are always on a leash out side so I have control. If I was doing nothing wrong and a cop shot my dog by mistake. I probably would wind up arrested anyway because I would lose my shit. |
The dog did not even have a hoodie or skittles ....
|
typical cops... shoot first, ask questions and blame the victim later...
|
This time it was 'only' a dog. Remember last time, when swat raided the wrong house and killed an ex-marine?

Yup just saw that on the local news.

Fucking idiot cop. Jesus fucking christ. That poor bastard. If I had been there I would have called that fucking cop every name in the book. if I was the dog owner I would sue the fuck out of the cops, the city, and the cop personally. I'm surprised the dogs owner didn't break down and start crying on the spot.
|
if i was that guy you would never hear the end of me
i would hound that cop and his department until the day i died what a mother fucker |
btw i have the exact same sort of dog
|
Sad. I have a dog and I can't imagine that scenario.
|
So far in my life I've never met an asshole cop. I've had cops let me go on different occasions for stuff like speeding, going through a stop sign, and falsely thinking I was talking on the phone (which I was't I was taking my sunglasses off at dusk). I've been interviewed by detectives that were respectful and cool.
Stories like this do show there are a minority of complete non thinking individuals who are employed as cops and it's bullshit. There has to be a better way of weeding people like this out of every police force. These kinds of guys are just like the ones who tase people before simply talking to them to calm them down instead. I'm sad for the guy and his companion 7 year old pup. Hard shit to read first think in the morning I need to remember GFY is for later in the day FUCK! . |
I would let that cop know that he will pay and that there is not a god damn thing that he can do about it. The law protects nobody, it only punishes you for your crime IF they can figure out who did it, and prove it and catch the guy. But nobody is untouchable.
|
Well, that just put a damper on my day. RIP Cisco.

Cops come across dogs on a daily basis, being as they visit people's houses - usually under emergency circumstances. You and I picture a cute dog running up to us, but for cops they see snarling attack dog. Keep in mind I have a dog myself, a black lab that goes running with me twice a day. |
bullshit...especially if the dog wasnt being threatening.
however the cop had his gun pulled out as well...ready to rock. it could have been handled better on the police side, buddy should not have let go of his dog. i predict a lawsuit very soon. |
I'm a dog lover and owner myself but I can't help but laugh at the idiots in this thread that have no idea how their own legal system actually works.
Yeah yeah you'd all sue. What would you sue for? The cost of the dog? Dogs are considered property. |

however in the usa...i believe you could also sue for pain and suffering, and since a dog is considered a child to most, that is a lot of pain and suffering. I also didnt say i would sue.....i said, i believe a lawsuit is coming. |

Hmm apparently there has been one decision in Ontario for such a thing involving negiligence at a kennel. It was even held up on appeal. You'd have a very, very, very tough time proving the a police officer following police policy was negligent though.
In general, however, you can only recover the direct costs related to an animal. There are a few exceptions in the states, but Texas is not one of them. |
Ever since I started hearing about shit like this I can't stand to watch cop shows.
|
You can sue for it's replacement cost. We all know that's not the true value of a pet.. but there you go. A grey area that is forced into a black and white box.
|
Cop is most likely covered.
1. Sent to a call on a domestic dispute. ( one of the most dangerous types of calls ) 2. Call was bad enough that he entered the house with his firearm out and ready. 3. Dog comes in barking and moving towards the cop in what the cop most likely thought of as an aggressive manner. me in his spot, I would have shot the dog as well. It put him into a dangerous situation with the man at gun point and the dog coming in. At the end of the day the cops main goal is to go home to his family and loved ones in one piece. And as usual, there is a lot more to this story than we will ever be told. |

You wanna defend these nazis too? |
I've had my run ins with barking dogs and usually they will stop next to you and keep barking but not bite. Cops carry alternatives such as pepper spray and batons but sadly most of them are just pigheaded. He took the opportunity to shoot the dog and flex his authority just like most cops will do.

So, do you suspend a cop with pay, full benefits and pension (all taxpayer provided) - or do you fight the cop union with taxpayer money - and STILL provide the fat donut eating asshole with a full pension and benefits? I'd rather have a force full of ED209's than the laughable fat shitheels that that suck the taxpayers teat without giving back anything in return. I'd buy THAT for a dollar - instead of the fat overpaid pieces of sht roaming my streets that I'm ALREADY paying a dollar for. Hi! I want to be a cop because I can make six figures a year and get beniefits that the people I arrest - and the people tht pay my wages - for no reason can only dream about. Fuck the law and justice. I just want to eat donuts and get a six figure pension when I turn 55. Yeah, maybe I'll get shot at - I SWEAR I NEVER KNEW that would happen when I decided to become a fat donut eating, taxpayer assfucking cop. I want to be a cop with full benefits, but I don't want to experience any peril or resposibility. I don't want to think about this - I just want to sit in my car, eat donuts, cry after my wife leaves me, and - maybe (if I have one shread of common sense left) - shoot myself in the face. Of course, the taxpayers will still be obligated to provide my family with my full pension but HEY! I'm a civic employee. I'm better than you. BTW, I invite any Canadian cops to attempt to arrest me after this statement. I could use the taxpayer-funded government settlement. When I grew up, all you had to do to become a cop was pass the physical. That's it. Finish high-school, run a course. After that - here's your six figure salary. Enjoy the donuts you fat fucking piece of shit. I hate cops. Cops ain't what they were twenty years ago. Anyone who thinks a cop is a hero just because he's a cop (Nasty biker Baddog? Hi! You fuckng Republican rebel you...) Who cares. Fuck cops. BTE - I can saw what I want about fat donut eating corrupt pigs. GFY may have a different opinion - that's fine. All cops eventually turn into hemmoroid infested, fat "Molly & Mike" donut eating stereotypes that couldn't catch their own shoes if they didn't have a gun or a tazer. You're on GFY. You produce or promote porn. You support cops. You are a fucking idiot. Thank you. I'll be here all last week... |
A dog is property so you can sue for the cost. With mine one was free and the other was $40 from the pound. If you watch the cop cam this guy was ready the minute he stepped out of the car. He was pointing his gun at the guy and he didnt even know who the fuck he was. You hear him say put your hands up, you hear a bark and shot. The owner never would of had time to react without getting shot. Nothing will happen to the police officer.
Thank god the cops here seem to keep it together well, dont jump and then ask questions. |
