Guy Ritchie: Talented Director or Hack?
 

Is it me or is Revolver his best movie? Snatch was okay, I guess, but when very single new movie seems almost identical to the others, it's gets tiresome. Big time Hack in my opinion, even worse than Tarantino.

Sherlock Holmes series has been excellent.

Same set of characters in every film.

Same set of characters, same dumb action scenes, same "witty" humor that comes off as totally fake.

That was probably his shittiest movie of all. A ripoff of snatch, that was a ripoff of Two Smoking Barrels.

I don't mind his movies, they are what they are. He has interesting characters, albeit very similar to each of of his other movies.. and then he made Swept Away when he was with Madonna. That he will never be forgiven for. Except if it was to stop Madonna from nagging at him, night and day, and her threatening to freeze him out of the pussy, if he didn't put her in a movie. Then his move is slightly more understood.

I like all his movies, talented director, great movies!

snatch and barrels were completely different. where they the same to you because they both had accents?

like many he had potential but then ran out of new ideas and went the pop route to stay afloat. His movies are at least better than most of the bullshit coming out these days i'll give him that. was down hill after madonna it seems.
