what is with google?
 

I know from time to time people post about google changing things and how it will affect searches.

but often when i do a search i do not see a great deal of difference.

but in the last two or so days the searches are all over the place.

its very odd.

in the past first place used to be what the search was, but now its brings up almost non releated subjects.

its realy bad.

I have entered "private browsing" with fake geo-ip software.

The results are always consistent.

for some reason my home page got changed to a different search enjine:

I noticed that too. I really dont understand google and the logic.

Many sites of mine lost their possitions.

I have a blog, with content, not hiding affiliate links, clean design, no pop ups, no malware, no shit, several backlinks, used to be on the first page for its target term. Few days ago it went to the page 2 and today I see its totally gone.

Another blog was getting good traffic, I wanted to test a new sponsor so I added 2 new posts and guess what happened? Traffic dropped.

What makes me wonder is why Google claiming to be improving search and preferring quality sites put a shitty one page web without any content hosted on it (just links to FHGs) that never updates in the top results. I know the sites dont have that many backlinks.

Shit I even saw an affiliate link displayed as a search result for a popular term (2nd possition), which is crazy.

I also had blogs that completely disappeared from the search and never came back, not banned, just not listed for the term they used to be.

Fuck it.

I don't get crazy anymore with google.

Sometimes I can see a huge bump on venusblogger and then a huge decline for 4-5 days, to then come back with even more traffic than before.

They are touching and tweaking their algo every single day.

In the long term, if you do things right, traffic will come back and will get even more traffic than before.

A sudden decline in Google traffic nowadays it does not mean that you were penalized. that's something of the past.

Period.
