ExoClick.. ads rejected "Redirects not allowed", wtf?
I just tried to buy a couple of days, and OF COURSE I am running the traffic through a my system which can
- Count the clicks - And most important of all HIDE THE REFERER ExoClick is asking me to show my sponsors where my traffic comes from? LOL .. Do you guys have any idea how many sponsors out there that will copy my ass the moment they see where I send my traffic from? In other words they will make : exoclick-me-sponsor Into : exoclick-sponsor Most ridicolous rule ever.. |
I know a typical answer would be, just make a warning page.. but no, warning pages loses traffic.. and if I would redirect the traffic to some malicious place I'd just do it from the warning page wouldn't I..

They are protecting the publishers from people who redirect to viruses. :2 cents:
|
I feel your pain. they were making me bash my head off the desk the other day too.
|
Thanks for saving me the time of using them.

Redirects are allowed but must be pre-approved from [email protected] prior, this is just to make sure we keep our network free of any bullshit. :pimp

Tip to everyone : don't EVER fucking show your refering URLS to your sponsor, unless it's your own site obviously. |
Or maybe I dont..
$913 spent and the banner which is normally 0.8% CTR on TJ on the same position did 0.15% (300x250 blind video banner) on your system resulting in 1509 clicks ... 2 sales = $60 :) This is pure US traffic I might add. There's no way in hell that that banner only did 0.15% CTR - Your system aint counting correctly, that's 100% sure. Well, hey ho.. $913 out = $60 in .. I think that'll top as my worst ad buy experience ever :) |
Drop me a line when you have 5 minutes to talk :)
