Funny thing is, the state troopers that escorted these guys were suspended without pay. They are attempting to fight the suspension through their lawyers, who say they were not driving in an unsafe or reckless manner. Guess they didn't know about this video. :Oh crap

I have full respect for troopers but this is beyond and total abuse of power. I agree with their suspension and I dont believe they should be allowed to drive squad car...its a privelage to be a state trooper let alone in NJ. No idea what would go through someones head to do that when you have such a respected job/position.

If a state trooper got suspended every time they abused their power there would be about ten of them left on active duty. Drive down the AC expressway at around 3 o' clock, you'll see a ton of them doing 100+ trying to get back to the barracks at the end of their shift.

I don't understand what all the excitement was about - It's on a busy fucking freeway in NJ.

Two years ago I was driving from Sacramento to Stockton on the 5 and there is huge twenty mile patch of freeway with nothing going on and a group of Ferraris and Lambo came flying by. I was driving my Cobra at the time so I tucked in with them for a bit, but dropped out because I already have 100mph+ ticket on my DL.

I guess in NJ you don't get to see exotic cars often, no less a group of them.
