Is this the boy who settled for a couple million dollars a few years back? If that's the case, this really makes it look like MJ paid off the kid to keep quiet.

More importantly though is why would the father and/or mother accept payment?

I think the whole case speaks volumes about both sides.

If my child was being repeatedly molested by someone I wouldn't accept money in lieu of punishment.

This allows the man (if he actually committed the abuse) to continue.

These people put a dollar amount on their childs safety, security, sense of self, as well as other potential victims.

A kid using the phrase "he masturbated me"? I have the feeling the parents may have had something to do with the statement.

SquarePants 02-10-2003 07:20 PM

I just saw a news program where they stated the family didn't need the money so they settlement was'nt about that. Which made me wonder about that statement. Then if money isn't an issue, why not fight it out? I mean the cat's out of the bag, and the kid did make the claims.

WiredGuy 02-10-2003 07:21 PM

I think a lot of people are willing to take millions and put things to rest. After all, there's 2 real choices, convict MJ, hope the trial goes in the victim's favour and get paid some cash for damages versus an out of court settlement for 10-20 times the amount you would likely win from a court decision. Sadly, the latter is the case that happens too often to celebrities and the rich. Not saying its right, just saying what tends to happen in this world.

Yup, I agree. MJ probably did molest this kid but there is no way that statement is from a 13 year old. No way at all. Looks like a lawyer wrote it up and then the kid signed it.

I think the name is not what the cars are really. We have an Ugly Ducks rental company in town that has some decent cars.

Yeah of course...I mean if MJ actually wrecked his car any number of dealerships would have been more than happy to deliver one to him personally.

This was just his opening to get to see the kid again.

I've also wondered about the lengthy stays Michael always had going on in Southeast Asia etc.

I bet he's got a list of victims in those countries as well.

I just know there is going to be the day That Webster will pop up and say...Michael fucked me.

Or Macauly Culkin to say, he open mouth kissed me and Kieran.

I would have taken my chances in court with my kid...and then sue.

I think the parents extorted this money out of him, and I don't buy the whole point about them not needing the money, for some people there is never enough.

TaDoW 02-10-2003 08:48 PM

he molested my sister - and I think made a website out of it.

NastyJack 02-10-2003 09:01 PM

His a freak alright!

why would a man his age want to sleep with a kid if it was not for some perverted pleasure.

The thing about this is that in time the truth is going to come out and all the money in the world is not going to be worth shit.

I would had killed the fucker - no court, no money!
Two shots in the face would had done the job just nicely thank you.

Regards
NastyJack

I find it hard to believe the parents would let this go. They should have been all over tv and talking about getting micahel hung in court until their last breath.

Instead maybe they threaten to sue and instead of going through civil court, michael of course welcomes a payoff.

If you are the parents you could save all those other kids, it becomes a responsibility to stop him from abusing more kids. If he was convicted he would then be a sex offender and sure wouldn't have all this access to kids like on his tv special.

Then reguardless of the trial, what would stop them from continuing with a civil suit, and even a payoff at that point to avoid going to court again?

I know michael seems nuts, but everything he said on his tv special about interacting with kids can totally be true. It could be innocent and I would hate for somebody to condemn me based on a small statement by a kid. It could be true, or it could be somebody going after an easy target.

Sucks cause there is no way of really knowing whats up.
