When was the last time Google released something new that did not fail? Google Buz: FAIL. Google+: FAIL. Google Drive: FAIL.

Ditto that. Many of Google's services tend to be awful in regards to usability.

Also, even if G-Drive gets all the kinks worked out, putting all of one's eggs in one basket isn't wise, especially with Google...

A big risk with using Google is they often suspend accounts, even for the smallest of reasons, such as failing to put in one's real name during registration - if Google think one's real name is fake, that alone can lead to suspension...

And when suspension occurs, often all associated services get taken down with it, including photos, email, docs, and of course, G-Drive too.

You talk about dropbox. Probably you are talking about dropbox.com. Google Drive sounds good - huge amounts of storage space. The users have to try it before they make decisions.

Is the syncing on Google Drive really slow for anyone else? I'm on a fiber connection and when I tried syncing about 200mb it took fucking FOREVER.
