Oddly enough, I'm finding a great amount of satisfaction fixing up a 1990 Chevy Sidestep. I blame this on the show "Wheeler Dealers". Remember that car you wanted when you were a kid but couldn't afford? You can buy it dirt cheap, slam $5k or $10k into it, and have yourself a brand new car.

I have a brand new car in the garage and it's just collecting dust.

This is a great example - In fact, they did this car on Wheeler Dealers a bit back. I wanted a Quattro when I was in the Marines. I would kill to have one of these really.
