How to monetize site?
I need some options, guys. I intend to apply them in the near future.
The site started as a service for myself, then I decided to make it public. Basically the site notifies you by email when a webcam is online. As a user you have the possibility to add max 10 cams to monitor. I support several cam sites, such as livejasmin.com, cam4.com, myfreecams.com etc Here is the site http://www.camnotifier.com How should I monetize the site? I was thinking about asking the user for a monthly fee in order to monitor more than 10 cams. What payment gateway should I use? More ideas? What worked for you? Thanks!! |
Nice website, until you figure out if you want to charge your visitors you can monetize and grow traffic via Plugrush :thumbsup

Plugrush and juicy ads for sure.

do you want to sell the site or have a script i can buy

And gopeter, after you sign up to plugrush and juicy and if you like them you put their banners in your sig also or what ever program you like! |
Go juicy!

Do you want to exchange links?
|
seems like you are catering to dedicated webcam customers so whats wrong with revshare?
|
mh.. nothing personal, but I think your website needs a little bit more of structure and a even cleaner design...
monetizing? drive traffic to your website and turn it into some cash via plugrush, juicyads or goads... or try (if you have a good amount of traffic) to sell some banner spots individually cheers, ava |
Thanks for your tips guys.
So you are saying to use only ads and let the service work as it is? Is it such a bad idea to make signup plans (like monitor 50cams or more for 2$ / mo and no more ads)? Quote:
Thanks! PS: Let me know what links you would like to exchange, I'm open for that. |
