Rammstein in Montreal . Best. Concert. Ever.
Hey Metal nerds...
Just thought I'd drop a note and say if you have never seen Rammstein before, you owe it to yourself to check them out. I had heard only a few of their songs ("Du Hast" of course), and decided at the last minute to go check out their show here at the Bell Center. WOW!!!!... I mean.. WOW!!! Easily the best concert I have ever seen (or heard). (I saw U2 last year and YAWN!). I don't know where to start so I'll just ramble: - Amazing sound. I mean, Amazing. Loud as hell, but clean. Distorted, but clean. Perfect. - Amazing performances. Strong as fuck stage presence. - My kinda music. Industrial Heavy Metal with beats & hint of Techno. - A fun performance. The band was clearly having a really good time. - Pyro! Holy shit! More Pyro than KISS, but without the cheese! Explosions, Flame Throwers, Smoke smoke smoke! - Lightshow. Ultra-modern super bright fast LED with traditional lighting. - Surprises! The band moved from the main stage to a small centre stage during a part of the show. (Right beside me!) - Filthy! S&M beatings and spanknigs and masturbating and a huge crowd-pleasing cum shot. - I caught a drum stick! But I gave it away. Anyway, great great great show. Here's some clips Anyway, can't wait for them to return. Would drop everything to see these guys in concert again. |
German music band Rammstein in Montreal... Interesting... Better learn German words, otherwise can't understand what they are saying.

Gotta love Rammstein, saw them at the Big Day Out about 10 or 11 years ago, they're great live.
|
My German friends imply that they are the equivalent of GWAR... but I've heard from many people that it is the show with the most fire effects on tour ever.
I think that's why they are discouraged from touring in the USA. We have freaky rules about pyrotechnics. |
I saw them last year, amazing show. I love the exploding babies!
|
I love his concerts, never been to one, but seen a few DVDs :thumbsup :thumbsup
|
I've seen that show in Berlin and in Copenhagen and I agree with you :thumbsup
I don't think I've ever been to a concert that beats any Rammstein show I've been to. |
ahhh, the memories...
saw them almost 20 years ago in a club with 300 people and the stage was 1 foot high. they almost burned down the place - hehe |
Rammstein concerts are awesome.
|
So somebody actually wanked off on stage and blew their load? Surprised they get away with that.

Feuer frei :BangBang:

and I mean blatantly fake. Which is on purpose. They're not trying to make it look real. |
Didn't they split up?
|
Been a fan since their first album(95), I was 11 back at the time. Rammstein has always been one of my favorite bands, and their shows are something to see. GREAT concerts!
Saw them at Metropolis in 2001, Quebec 2010 and Bell Centre 2010 also. I missed the last show because I had another concert (Yann Tiersen), which sucked.. |
