In light of Penguin update, is this considered duplicate content?

So I was bitch slapped by Google's latest algorithm even though I don't know one iota about Black Hat SEO and things like that because, in my opinion, unless you are savvy enough for it, its probably not a good idea to even try.

A lot of my sites are built in wordpress and each post uses tags. In the past, these tags really helped me out on Google, but as I continue to read about the latest update and duplicate content, I'm starting to think that this may have been one of the things that got me.

For example using tags for my posts creates these pages:

http://www.sharonpink.org/tag/sharon-pink-big-boobs/
http://www.sharonpink.org/tag/sharon-pink-big-tits/

And those two pages are almost exactly the same.

So my question is, with the new update in mind, if your Wordpress tags lead to the creation of pages that point to largely the same posts on your site, is that something that would be considered duplicate content?

Hopefully this post will help others as well, since we are dealing with Wordpress and the way it operates and how we have to be mindful of that in light of the latest algo

So I couldn't find my answer using google but it came up #1 on Bing for the exact same search. Just saying... Google inferior? Boycott google? Sign me up. I use the web to search too and google ain't helping me there...

The two pages you list are not valid anymore...

i found something strange with the same content on multiple pages i.e. i had the same warning text in the header, footer and all pages i think that is what penalised me so i have removed all but the header and resubmitted

How do you resubmit? Through Webmaster tools? I need to do the same.

To the previous person: Yeah, I am experimenting with sharonpink.org and I removed all tag pages. I'm running 3 different experiments on 3 different groups of sites. 1 test is for keyword density, 1 test is for backlinking, and the last test is removal of tags altogether. If anyone is interested I can post the results in a couple weeks...

But I suppose none of this matters if my sites are not re-submitted to Google first... how would I do that? I'm thinking webmaster tools but where?

Seems more like keyword stuffing than duplicate content.

Your content, however brief, smacks of keyword stuffing. I would suggest going back and rewriting your content to make it appear more natural. If I was still in the biz, I would gladly help you out...
