Kim Dotcom to Keynote at Internext in January
Is this some kind of a joke?
http://www.ynot.com/content/117845-k...t-january.html If this is true, it certainly signals the state of the industry. As if the last big keynote speech that raised some eyebrows wasn't enough. |
The elder statesman will turn 30 in 2013. Have some respect.

He is in Auckland - terms of bail = no internet access and stay within 80k of his home. Internext - Vegas. |

If the intention is to have him in handcuffs as he gets off the plane, I'm all for it. Which is why I ask, is this some kind of a joke? There are a lot of people in this industry trying to do legit business. Then there are those who are recognized as legit businessmen, who are fucking thieves, or do business with thieves or other unethical fucking cunts. And then there are the rest.... weak fucking pussies too scared to get their balls cutoff for standing up for whats right. |
Obviously it is fake. If he sets foot on US soil he would likely be taken into custody.

"According to AVN Chief Executive Officer Theo Sapoutzis, keynote speakers already committed include Yussef from Mansef (a forerunner to Manwin), and serial swindler and Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom." I don't associate YNOT with being a fake news source, but much like the contents of this article, nothing would surprise me these days. |

If his case is settled by then and he isn't in jail he could likely show up. If he is still fighting extradition I doubt he would. |

The point is why would AVN allow or even encourage this type of figure to be a keynote speaker? |

The message in this business is clear. Feel free to fuck as many people over as you want on your way up, just buy drinks for the survivors when you get there and all is forgiven. |

So glad I made it to the end of the road and retired. Anyone thinking Kim could video a speech and send it to AVN for showing at the show? |
Adapt or die!!!!

Vasilis ****** (Theo's partner) - Uploading.com / AVN Kim Dotcom - Megaupload Ouisssam Youusef - Filesonic.com / Mansef All they need is ThePirateBay and you have some of the biggest pirates in the world. But I guess they can't blow their load all at once. They still need a pirate to give the keynote in 2014. Good stuff. :thumbsup |

Bait and switch?

It would be a HUGE backhand to the industry to have either Youseff and/or Kim Dotcom give the keynote. Even trying to get them is insulting to every honest person in the industry and should cost AVN every future advertising dollar they may make. Why not get Chris Mallick while you're at it? Sure to draw a crowd. |
Awesome! :1orglaugh:1orglaugh
Oh the tangled bro web they weave..... |

It looks as though the article has been removed.
However it was listed as the top story on a YNOT newsletter. Written by someone named Susie Denim if i recall correctly. What does it take to be a reporter over there these days? |
My guess is that AVN seeded some mis-information knowing full well that YNOT would be falling all over themselves to rush the negative story to press. As a result YNOT ended up with the egg on their face and had to remove the story.

Trolled softly.
|
I'll bring a bucket of rotten tomatoes. Enough for everyone.
|
Lawrence Conner should do the key note speech. Like anyone can learn from these people lol
