Diagnose my Google Problems

A few months ago -- my Google traffic dropped drastically and I am unable to figure out as to why. There is another blog I helped develop that uses the same thesework, but different graphics and what not. That one has signifigantly more gay Google traffic then mine.

My website is: www.BoysforBreakfast.com

Does anybody see any potential code issues or what not? Thanks in advance!

Trying to understand google these days is something taht could drive anyone crazy...

Your site meta description should be up on line 7 instead of line 90.
Push all the javascript to the footer. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/footer-javascript/
Either get rid of that socialwrap thing (lines 17-69) or push it to the footer.

That's should be a good start.

Google has more filters and penalties in place than ever before. Hit me up on icq if you wish and I'll go over a few of them with you and see if any may apply to your situation.

Good day,

I am on DSL. It looks like the header image is the last thing to load. Until it loads I am looking at an almost empty page. It gives the impression that the site is not working as it takes way too long to load.

The only thing that SEO quake picks up on is the lack of ALTs on your images....

Not a reason for you to drop though.

Did you take Google Analytics code off your pages and replace it with something else?

On a side note I don't see Google as being happy that some of your indexed pages redirect to your sponsors when clicked in Google search results. I think that's seen as blackhat, cheating, and manipulating the surfer from their perspective.

There are lot of methods to avoid having javascript code on your main page...and put css code in a separate file.

The problem are your hardlink trades:
too links = too way to get some penalization

Outgoing links cannot create any penalization no matter howmuch you have them

Oh so this is where all the webmasters hang out.

BradBreakfast 05-08-2012 07:04 PM

Which links do that? I did not intentionally do that.

Thanks for all the advice guys, I'll try to make the pages more lightweight but I am not doing anything different then this blog: http://expiringlinks.co/93b2600348cd...60c5ab2c1a41f7

Two quick things:
Remove the extra </title> tag

Remove "<meta name="revisit-after" content="1 days"/>"

Also, work on some keyword research.

From what I see your Google site results here show that posts under /links and /ct are the ones that list in Google search results for your site, but forward to the sponsor when clicked. I've noticed your "nofollow" in the code, but it seems Google is following the links and indexing the info for your site search results.

EXAMPLE 1: Page 1, 5th result

Cody Cummings Official Gay and Bisexual Porn Website
www.boysforbreakfast.com/link/codycummings
Welcome to Cody Cummings official website. You can see Cody Cummings's videos, pictures and blog![/CODE]

EXAMPLE 2: Page 1, 2nd result

Cody Cummings Official Site - www ... - Cody Cummings pictures
http://www.boysforbreakfast.com/ct/c...14749&s=70&t=1
Cody Cummings Official Site - www.codycummings.com ... Cody Cummings Pic 01 Cody Cummings Pic 02 Cody Cummings Pic 03 Cody Cummings Pic 04 ...

The reason I think this could be hurting you is because I don't see these results listed in Google's search results, only Google search results for your site.

I hope this helps :thumbsup

google it

Bladewire 05-10-2012 04:12 AM

Another thing. I noticed you have Comus Thumbs installed, did you do this recently? These are the /ct results in Google for your site, that don't show up in Google's main search results.

Google has been known to penalize sites with Comus but you can reverse this by changing your permalink structure. This particular info could be helpful to you.

Hope this helps good luck :thumbsup
