Anyone in the Las Vegas area looking for an amazing sandwich, I'd recommend Lee's Sandwiches on Eastern/Serene

I eat there about twice a week. They have the most amazing vietnamese sandwiches, especially their BBQ pork. They pile on the fresh pickled veggies and jalapenos. They come on a 10 inch bagette. BTW, locals secret: order extra meat. it's only $1 extra and they pile it on.

Fuck the fast food sammich chains, this place is awesome.

Plus, they love our DaVinci Vaporizer there ;-)

Lee's Sandwiches was started in '83 by two Vietnamese refugees in San Jose (Calif), as a small "roach coach" service, using catering trucks to sell cheap sandwiches and hot meals to workers at industrial parks and construction sites:

The Banh mi place that I used to go to just closed. I live in a neighborhood that has a sizable Vietnamese population, so this was somewhat surprising and shitty at the same time.

don't shatter my illusions of it being a little mom and pop place...lol

their banh bao is so good...I don't care what the meat inside is...I just know it tastes amazing

Found that place in LV when at AEE this year. Some day have to make the trek out to San Gabriel to hit their shop here in SoCal...
Their coffee is just out of this world, sandwiches, spring rolls everything is fantastic...

If you are looking for amazing dim sum on the cheap, check Dim Sum Express...Hopefully they will make it to Lee's status sometime. Another fantastic reason not to hit MickeyD's.
