wire versus direct deposit
 

I was curious why so many sponsors off wire transfer but not direct deposit? does it cost sponsors more for direct deposit or is there some other reason? my bank charges to get a wire but direct deposit is free so was wondering what the difference was. Both are electronic so why fees for one but not the other?
