Hummmmmm

Weird.
I would prefer to see her boobs (or completely naked) without any kids in the area though. Jolly |
damn, that kid looks too old to be sucking on his hot mom's tit.

low level childish provocation cover.

I had a neighbor when I was growing up, he was about 5-7 years old and his mother still breast fed him...very VERY weird to say the least.
|
What I think is that 3 years old is too old for breast feeding.
I do not feel that breast feeding babies should ever be frowned upon whether in public or in private however. It's just that 3 years old is not a baby. The kid could probably crack his own coconut or catch a fish, and can certainly chew solid food. |
this is some serious cp, i say ban and someone please call cia, fbi, nba, ... oh, well, excuse me i have forgot i am not an american
|
I look forward to the story 15 years from now when somebody follows up on the kid.

Breastfeeding your 3 year old kid is not a sexual act but it is kind of fucked up. Breastfeeding a 35 year old stranger is a sexual act. http://img123.hotlinkimage.com/thumb/31656165.jpeg |

I do know that I have become so desensitized to boobs and stuff because I am more interested in the God of Cricket story.
|
Thirsty lil fella isn't he
|
I'm pretending to be outraged as well ...
|
They were only the Today show this morning and the kid was whinny and fussy all during the interview. I could only laugh at the parent fail. :winkwink:
|
She must need the attention.
|
Okay I think that breastfeeding is a good thing but this looks a little silly. The kid is standing on a chair to get to the tit. When you can no longer cuddle them or hold them in the right position I think that should be warning enough that its time to move on. Many 3 year olds are already in preschool etc. and this one is still latched on. Bet hes not potty trained either.
|
Really not relevant that some of you think the kid is too old to be breast fed. I have known parents that did it longer than 3 years. They had their reasons, so not our place to judge.
|
so the picture is obviously to provoke..
to comment: 1. the kid looks pretty hefty, dont think he is missing any meals. 2. sexual or not? we need a woman in here to inform us properly; do you get sexual stimulation from breastfeeding? |

I don't have a problem with attachment parenting (the REAL issue here)
We do it with our baby and I did with my other kids and my first wife. I've manged to raise happy, healthy kids. The picture itself is horrible. It doesn't represent the reality of breastfeeding. To those saying that 3 is too old, what should the limit be. You do realize mother's milk is pretty much the perfect food (unless of course the mother is an alcoholic meth head)? |

When a kid starts growing up he/she needs more than just mother's milk. That's why teeth start growing, nature is letting you know it's time to vary your diet and giving you the tools to do it. Or are you gonna just feed your kid breast milk until they're three years old? |
Quote:
realistically, a child could receive benefits from mother's milk with the diet until 6 or 7. Most kids ween themselves at about 18 months anyways...why a rush to get them off the boob before they are ready? Are your kids breastfed or bottle fed? |

When the child can eat solid food, and after the good stuff in breast milk (whats the name of it again?) is tapped out.

Once you're two years old usually you have your first set of teeth. I would say that's a pretty good indication it's time to give it up. I completely agree that breast feeding is the best thing to do with babies and I agree that it's a vital bonding experience. But allow me to give you another important bonding experience: potty training. Changing diapers and wiping your kids' ass when they're little is an important bonding experience, yet nobody talks about that. Why? Because it's not as controversial as breast feeding, after all breasts are involved. Would you suggest you keep wiping your kids' ass after they're three years old? After all, it's an exercise in trust. It's an intimate experience. |

I wonder if she will chew the food for the kid and feed him from her mouth a la reese witherspoon next?
|
Awesome magazine cover! Covers are supposed to sell magazines and that's what this one will do, plus it's probably destined to become iconic in the annals of publishing history. I say kudos to Time for being bold.
Even more kudos to the crazy milf who clearly doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks of her parenting tactics. |
Think he will be an ass man when he grows up?
|
Whoever decided to run it on the cover did a great job. I don't remember the last time I talked about Time Magazine with anybody.
|
LOL the cover should have read: "Grown Up Enough" (For Breast Feeding!)
This... is a clear example of how far a magazine can go to sell issues! The surprise effect is not longer applicable to provoke a wow! effect, its just another example of mediocrity and lack of creativity Im gonna cancel my subscription to Newsweek, er, Life, er, Time |
