How do I install ioncube loader on a shared host?
I am sure I have put ioncube loader into a directory on a shared server and had scripts run it from there.
I cant remember how I did it now - I have been playing with it for ages... Anyone know? |

Its not even that important - Just annoying because I know I should be able to do it. |
im 99% sure you cant just install it on a shared hosting account its something that has to be installed for the whole server.

Ask your host to install it. You cant do it yourself on a shared host.

that is something you will have to ask your host to do for you ... should only take a couple minutes ...
|
As stated above, your host has to do it for you if it is not already enabled (are you getting an error)?
|
well it really depends on your system setup...
if you use it just on one site on the server a custom php.ini will make a runtime loader work fine and it won't run on all other sites (if those do not require it). on the other site if you need it for all sites - than you could add that to main php.ini if you need it done - let me know http://www.awmzone.com/services |
