James Bond SKYFALL Official Teaser Trailer

I love Craig as Bond. Casino Royale is one of my favorite Bond films. Quantum of Solace was a bad movie, but that was not Craig's fault.

Really looking forward to this. not sure who the Bond babe will be this time around.

bronco67 05-21-2012 07:45 AM

I like these new james Bond movies. They have an edge to them that's been missing for years--- and Daniel Craig is great.

Choopa_Pardo 05-21-2012 08:00 AM

no more corny one liners or silly gadgets "Oh I have a pen that can get me out of this very specific predicament!"

None of that crap.

AllAboutCams 05-21-2012 08:15 AM

looks really good ill go and see it

DamianJ 05-21-2012 08:16 AM

Bognor Regis has never looked so glam.

Rochard 05-21-2012 08:17 AM

I too love the new James Bond movies! Craig is rocking it... Can't wait to see this one!

Timsb 05-21-2012 08:29 AM

looks amazing

MediaGuy 05-21-2012 09:56 AM

Yesyesyes!

This trailer is no big deal but still - the first two movies delivered in spades!

Weird they chose the director of American Beauty to do this though....

:D

Choopa_Pardo 05-21-2012 10:00 AM

the cinematographer on Skyfall has some serious credentials:

Mission impossible is better, Craig is perfect but story line in latest Bonds is still weak...

Harmon 05-21-2012 10:14 AM

Too bad he's gay and the sex footage will be out soon... did I say that out loud? :winkwink:

stach14 05-21-2012 10:14 AM

Looks very good. Can't wait to see it.

shake 05-21-2012 11:08 AM

Looks awesome :thumbsup

Scott McD 05-21-2012 11:10 AM

Never been a huge fan of the Bond movies. Will probably check it out though. Has to be better than 'Quantum of Solace' anyway...

John-ACWM 05-22-2012 11:11 AM

Can't wait to see it, Craig makes a very good JB.

AaronM 05-22-2012 11:18 AM

I guess I'm the odd man out as I think Craig is the worst James Bond ever. I don't like anything about his acting style. :2 cents:

Of course, I'm still looking forward to the movie.

what don't you like about him exactly? who is your favorite bond?

As a fan of Ian Fleming's novels, I will say that in my opinion Craig is the most accurate film interpretation of the Bond that appears in the books.

Barefootsies 05-22-2012 11:24 AM

Not very revealing, but lovely.

:thumbsup

I liked Casino Royale, and liked the darkness that Daniel Craig brought to the table. But there seems to be something missing in the newer movies plots (Quantum sucked ballz). I really enjoyed the older movies and their plots, and quirky villains. Yes they were campy, and the gadgets you always knew that they were going to get him out of a predicament, but that was part of their charm. And for the record, my favorite bond actor is still Roger Moore, followed by Pierce Brosnan. Timothy Dalton can die in a fire though.

I concur.

Some movie buffs attempted to explain away his stiffness in Casino Royale by saying that 007 as a character at that point was just starting out and had not developed the suave personality exemplified by other Bond actors who played the spy at later levels of the character's career.

Then there was Quantum of Solace where he did a bit better, but still wasn't quite up to par.

TBH, the trailer doesn't seem that intriguing to me...as a Bond movie, that is.

TheLegacy 05-22-2012 01:20 PM

Since I have watched Bond since the early days I would rather than Craig doing it than the entire series stop producing. I miss Bond and what it has to offer, and what it stands for.

Great trailer and can't wait until Nov to see it

HammerALL 05-22-2012 01:44 PM

I'm definitely excited for this one - great teaser

eroticsexxx 05-23-2012 02:16 AM

Told you...The new 007 is a sellout

Ian Fleming is rolling over in his grave.

Paul Markham 05-23-2012 03:23 AM

There's been some great James Bonds and some pretty awful ones.

Barry Nelson (1954)
Sean Connery (1962?1971 & 1983)
David Niven (1967)
George Lazenby (1969)
Christopher Cazenove (1973)
Roger Moore (1973?1985)
Timothy Dalton (1986?1993)
Pierce Brosnan (1995?2002)
Daniel Craig (2006?present)

Sean Connery
Roger Moore
Pierce Brosban
Daniel Craig

They all brought their own interpretation to the character to fit the time. For me it will always be Sean Connery at the top of the list.

Craig does a great bond in my opinion.

Does anyone else hate the fact that they release these previews so far out from the release date?

Nice trailer :)

in this Bond movie, Mr Bond will NOT be drinking vodka martinis, stirred not shaken; instead he will be drinking beer (Heineken beer to be exact) thanks to the contribution of $45M from Heineken.

fail... just plain fail.

I'm looking at it this way...

Perhaps they finally realized that Craig (as Bond) is not worthy of the Bond signature drink.

brentbacardi 05-23-2012 07:51 PM

Toss up between Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan on who is the best bond... the new ones are kinda sucky IMO

GoldenEye is my favorite movie!

GoldenEye was epic, what was even better was the N64 version of it. I killed a lot of hours during the summers off from school on that one years ago.

waltgator 05-23-2012 08:50 PM

looking forward to the new bond movie, my favorite bond has to be roger moore & in a view to a kill with christopher walken...walken was great in that movie!

VenusBlogger 05-23-2012 10:35 PM

PIRIOD.

I would have liked to see someone bold try to reboot the franchise but with Brosnan. Yea the last couple movies he did sucked but because they went too silly, not anything to do with Brosnan himself. Not taking into account that Bond originally came from the novels, he embodies more of what I'd imagine a James Bond to be than any of the others that played him. Roger Moore was good too in that regard but was a bit too old I think.

Not that Craig is doing badly - he's doing an admirable job and Casino Royale was a great movie. He's just a little too on the serious side. I wouldn't see a scene like this coming from him:

He got a pass with Casino Royale because (like I said earlier) Bond in that movie had not yet begun to develop into the charismatic Bond we have become familiar with through Brosnan, Connery, et al.

So Craig actually fit the role of the serious, raw and unsure Bond in that particular movie.

Quantum of Solace was his real test and he didn't do so well in embracing the character in regards to adding any real flair to it.

He also has the best Bond line ever in The Man With the Golden Gun, when after shoving Agent Goodnight in a closet to shag Miss Anders. He opens the closet door when finished and utters this

Goodnight: Two? You mean I've been asleep in there for two hours?
Bond: I was just finishing business.
Goodnight: Business? I'm resigning in the MORNING!
Bond: Oh, don't worry, dear. Your time will come too.
Goodnight: Oh, James. You must be good!

Now that's a Bond!
