FUN: How Much Do You Have?
 

All work and no play makes Mister Peabody a frustrated, cranky a-hole. So I try and have fun at least once a day, somehow someway. Life is too short!!!!!

So how much "fun" do YOU have on a daily basis? Do you restrict your personal pleasure time to weekends like so many people do (sadly)? Or do you try and do something fun every day? Every week? What do you do?

Here's what I do to have fun:
(this list is no way exhaustive or complete)

Listen to my favorite music. I have a short list of favorite songs and artists so when I really feel the need to just escape and "let go" I put on some music and forget about life for awhile. I mean, ENJOY life for awhile! :GFYBand

Have sex with my girlfriend. Kind of self-explanatory but she might be reading this, so gotta list it....:wetkiss

Read Paul Markham threads on GFY. "Would this make me money?" ones are the best. No Paul, "this" won't make you (or anyone) a fucking dime. :clown:banana

Smoke a doobie. The wonder drug is indeed Mary Jane. 420 is a Gift from God so don't sin, suck it in. :rasta:smokin:stoned

Play with animals. A quick stroll through Central Park and you can find more unconditional puppy love than you can wag a tail at. Good for the soul and enough fun (and love) to get you through any day. :smilie_we

Eat something yummy. Sweet, sour, crunchy, gooey, something you can't help but enjoy
putting in your mouth. :tongue: :food-smil02

Read a book. Say what? What's a "book"? Nevermind....:conehead

Watch a good movie. Forget about life for awhile, go visit Endor or Neverland or wherever. :rainfro

Play a game. Real is preferred but video can be fun, too. Just remember to stop after eight days or so....:Oh crap:helpme

Have more sex with girlfriend. :censored

I like to swim in the pool or go to the beach whenever the mood strikes. Sadly, it's been striking a lot less. I did spend yesterday on the beach. Something I want to do more of but always forget is night walks on the beach. I like it when no one else is around and it's just the breeze and what's left of a wave hitting my feet.

Takin' the mountain bike out on the local trails with the camera. Great fun, relaxing...and usually find good photo ops along the way.

Money might not be able to buy happiness...but it sure can buy a lot of fun. :)

You Florida people are SO lucky!! When we were down there in February we walked on the beach at night, very romantic. If I lived there I would definitely do that more!

(ANYone who lives near a beach: fuck you if you don't take advantage of it as often as possible!!)

My idea of fun lately is to get stoned after 10pm and either:

Listen to doom metal, or watch some of those silly new cartoons that enhance my high.

I play the skin flute

I have lots of fun.

I play basketball every day. Always loved basketball and it's good exercise. I rock out every day, being as I work from home and I stream music all day long. For hobbies I'm restoring an older truck - well, not too old, a 1991. I'm not much of a car person and I'm driving it while I work on it, so it's been fun.

I also bang the wife three of four times a week. Not bad after twenty years together.

Oh, and I play Call of Duty daily too.

Then again I look at porn all day too.

There is "fun" in "fundamentalism" ...

It's kind of like dating a hot and sane stripper. You easily forget how good you have it.

Fun - well not as much on a daily basis, however my hobbies do take up a huge amount of my time overall.

Cars / driving / building / breaking / building / driving / breaking

Filming cars / driving / breaking / building

Anything with a motor I can take apart / drive and break is my major hobby.

Golf - mainly trying to send the ball to another planet rather than playing.

Oh and forgot to say - live near a beach (few hundred metres ) and take advantage of that in summer.

It's all good!

Be with (my) kids: riding a bicycle or just walking around, talking with them is absolutely refreshing and can make me forget all actual issues.

Practice with juggling games: I do devilstick and juggling balls. Lotzzz of fun!

Riding my Bicycle: I love my bicycle and probably the biggest fun for me is to combine good music, acid or mushrooms and riding my bike. 4-8 hours of this and I feel like I am after a 2 week vacation in Dubai :pimp

I have a Taco to start almost every day

I create sigs that noone clicks and I really get off on them :)

I do anything that is free! :)

And after all that I have another no-doze :)

Then I hang with my "buds" on gfy and we "relate"

No fun these days, got a new job in Jan and been working like a dog since.

When work is done I try get my own personal stuff up, so I can pay the bills

by the time the weekend comes I am so frazzled I forget to see whats happening.

Motorcycle track days used to be my thing, fixing cars / bikes, and watching racing. Love walking around the pits looking at older racing cars....

I try to turn off my workbrain and go on dates around the city with my awesome boyfriend or do 20-something cultural shit with my girlfriends.

Great plus when work is fun, too. I enjoy it a lot :)
