Question on domain backordering / snapnames
 

non-adult name I want to get expired yesterday (by date that is)
I backordered it via snapnames for 69
it now asks me to bid
how does this generally work? Will this go to auction? is there still a 30day or so window for the current owner to renew (directnic)
I would appreciate some experiences / tips

i think once it drops they grab the domain and you have to bid on it

Yes you have to wait 30 days, then if you are the only bidder you get it for $69. If there are more bidders auction starts. You get a mail if someone overbid you and you will also see that in snapnames admin.

if there are others who backordered the name, it will go to a 36 hr auction again between the original backorderers.
