Pics to HTML or JPG
 

What do you all think is better? When pic is clicked it goes to it's own html page or just the jpg.

Does it have any effect on seo?

I think its better to open in html because of the opportunity to make a sale off the pic. not sure about the seo

As a surfer I prefer the jpg's but the html pages would definitely bring more clicks.

Just zoom it over the actual page.

in what useage? on a fake TGP then use HTML, if its a submitted gallery then use the .jpg, For any other use i cannot see any reason why you would not use the html

If it's a huge pic, it's handy to let the browser scale it to fit the screen. That works only if you link to the pic itself.

Btw. is there an easy way to make wordpress open images in new page after using "add media" button ?
