So, AFF, who do I talk to about your spamming?
I use specific email addresses when I sign up for sites. With AFF, I imaginatively used AFF at domain.com
So that way I know if I get spammed where it originated from. My question is are you sending out illegal spam (no opt out, no address etc) like this, or did you just sell my email address to spammers? https://img.skitch.com/20120530-q2f7...4i5x2fhc2q.jpg Eitherway, it's not a good look... |
You'd expect anything less from those scumbags?

Hey Damian,
Send me that email you got. I'll see what I can find. we only cross promote our other sites and that's not our email template. I'd like to see where the links go. bsimpson @ ffn.com |
maybe a spammer typed in that email address randomly? hahaha and just by chance it was yours

I'd make up an email address a little bit harder to guess. Like aff84965 or something...
|
agreed, I always use the whole domain name. The random email spambots will get short ones.

I would say aff@ anydomain is in almost every spammers list of guess emails that and sales info webmaster news etc.................... |
Rogue employee

I add the current year to make the username a little more unique, eg "aff2012"
|
I have had several test accounts with AFF over the last 10+ years and have had no spam from them, ever. Move along.
|
If Zango taught us anything, its that you can count on AFF to answer honestly.
|
Tell me it ain't so ...
Spammers in the "adult industry" ? And certainly not AFF. Can't be true ... :upsidedow ~ |
