Oddly enough, TPB get around the UK ban on accessing their site
Whodathunkit?
TPB have worked out another way to get around the UK block on their site. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tech/new...addresses.html I'm on BT, who blocked them, and yet I can access it. |
they've been playing "whack-a-mole" with ip addresses for a couple days now.

Kinda shows the futility of it all, really

Not necessarily. http://broadcatching.files.wordpress...ones.jpg?w=610 |
I didn't think BT had blocked it yet, the extension hasn't expired yet has it?
|
In Holland the providers don't really want to block it, so they only block the IP that is in the court order, and then TPB changes IP, the music organisation has to get a new court order to get the new IP blacklisted as well and they go in circles. Kinda weird that they do it by IP and not by name.
But probably because people that use TBP know how to get to the site by using other domains. There are 1000s of proxy domains to access the site. |

http://thepiratebay.se/top/all Yea, I know THAT list is only stolen shit, but if you catch it at the right time of the day, it's all legit stuff. I'm sure of it. |

Time to give up? If not, why not? Apparently it is impossible to enforce. |
