So Zimmerman blew $50,000 (higher than most FL yearly salary's) in a month on hiding expenses?
Fucking idiots who gave this guy money.
Untrustworthy racist scam artist murderer punk. Can't wait until they throw away the key. |
Straight from the Lawyers mouth

Maybe he was hiding in a tit bar.
. |
Maybe he had security, too? John Goodman (not the actor) had to hire two off duty cops to guard him 24/7 as part of his bond and that was going to cost him over a million a year. Break that down by month and it isn't cheap.

y you mad tho?

Hiding expenses=Hiding the money:thumbsup

I can understand the need for security; the Black Panthers brought that shit on.

He might get manslaughter but don't think he's going away for life.

Or maybe him getting on a commercial flight was too obvious so he flew privately somewhere. Or they could have blown the money. I can think of a few legitimate security costs that wouldn't be cheap. |

White people think he's innocent
Black people think he's guilty "According to a new Gallup/USA Today poll, 51 percent of Black people said Zimmerman is “definitely guilty,” while only 10 percent of White people believe he’s guilty. Approximately 20 percent of both Whites and Blacks believe that Zimmerman is “probably guilty.” |

Um.. well Most Latinos are white. Latino is only on that card that you fill out because someone got pissy and sued for it. |
I'm white and I look at zimmerman and I see someone that is another race.
Doesn't mean he didn't do a good thing though. Those people should make him sheriff. |

Does he get private cell / protective custody, just because of the race issue?
I think it's obscene that some people go to jail and get raped repeatedly, extorted, etc, and other guys get a pass from all that because they're "special". I think all prisoners need to start doing stuff to get the "special" treatment too, until it's not feasible for the system to work that way. While I'd love capital punishment... I'd love gen pop way more. ;) |
Blame the law and the politicians who promote scare tactics, pitting working class people against each other!

It's really about a dude shooting another dude and the police judging that there was no crime until they got served notice that there needed to be a trial.
But this thread is degenerating into a race thing so have at it then. |

Um yeah. Im married to one. The uneducated ones dont know the difference but the ones that are educated would slap you for inferring that they were anything other than the race that they are. Here. Maybe this will help you a bit. "The term "Hispanic" as an ethnonym emerged in the 20th century with the rise of migration of laborers from American Spanish-speaking countries to the United States. Today, the word "Latino" is often used as a synonym for "Hispanic". The definitions of both terms are non-race specific, and include people who consider themselves to be of distinct races (Black, White, Amerindian, Asian, and mixed groups). However, there is a common misconception in the US that Hispanic/Latino is a race or sometimes even that national origins such as Mexican, Cuban, Colombian, Salvadoran, etc. are races. In contrast to "Latino" or "Hispanic", "Anglo" refers to non-Hispanic White Americans or non-Hispanic European Americans, most of whom speak the English language but are not necessarily of English descent." |

And the people here in Miami, from Columbia, Cuba, Equador, etc... Also talk about "white" people, not referring to themselves. I'm just sayin' . |

Then no offense but you need to start hanging out with some different people. People from Socal that are from a Mexican back ground have never been taught the difference as Mexico does not teach it. In fact Mexico is sooo mixed with Indian its hard in some areas to tell. Funny thing is, its funny as hell to see Mr. Or Ms. North America US get off an airplane and say. " Wow, these Mexicans area really white " I lived in Miami for 20 years and know for a fact that the better educated Cubans Colombians and what not all know the difference and refer to themselves as white. They may from time to time use the term that the " White guy " over there and that means the American guy but they know they are as white as I am. They are Hispanic but thats a ethnicity NOT a race. |
with a name like Zimmerman he can only be german - discussion over ;)

The area that it happened is a very small town with mostly white Americans ( Non Hispanic ) and most of them are quite racist. |

None of the terms seem coherent to me - Latino/Latina, Hispanic, Spanish, etc. - these terms are used like a race, but they describe a bunch of people associated with a language and one of several related cultures regardless of race. A Black Puerto Rican or Brazilian is identified within his or her own culture and society as Latin, because Latin cultural identity is based on language rather than physical features, and those cultures would understand "negro" or "negrita" or "morena" as being a sub-part of Latin-ness. We Americans mainly look at racial characteristics to judge ethnic identity of nonwhites, but the Latins look at language.
I'm half Sicilian. Sicily was ruled for one hundred years by Arabs and for three hundred years by Spaniards, and one of my grandmothers was born an Orlando, yes the same family from Sicily, originally Spanish, that founded a city in Florida. I've never understood whether that makes me Hispanic or not, but it's my sense that, because I don't come from a family with a tradition of the Spanish language being spoken that few would consider me to be Latin. |
