Program to extract photos from gallery links and rename

Is there a program that I can use to download a bunch of photos from galleries by providing their links only? I'm looking to download photos from galleries so that I can add them to my sites but the only way I know how to now is one by one. I'm bascially looking for a program that will allow me to download them locally fast and rename them fast in bulk as well. Any ideas? A free program would be awesome!

can't tell if you mean you've got image links or just gallery links?

If you're on a PC, AF5 is great.

I would recommend talking with a programmer and having them create a customized scraper for you that does exactly what you want, instead of trying to piece together a bunch of different software packages. It will cost you a little money (although not much) but will save you a crazy amount of time.

Automate as much as possible.

Thanks Sly, you are totally right here. My main objective is to create more links for the surfer to click on by adding galleries built into my site posts. I am now mostly updating with one pic linking out to a gallery with text on each post. I want to be able to switch it up a bit and do both to see which works better and which will be perceived as better quality posts. :)

Sly is right. Should be able to automate the lot as one process.

like harvesting other people's images or on your own sites and sites who have approved trades? can we do this?
