Transfer pics to iPad
iCloud works if you do streaming pictures. But if you want a picture deleted, you have to delete all pictures. Whole process is a pain in the ass.
Sorry for the following iPad rant, just today found out an old friend died 2 weeks ago and should have seen him long ago.
Love my Macs, but iPad is a disappointment. Got Bento on my Mac Air and iPad, but they won't sync. People at the Apple store had no clue how to make it work. Would have been perfect for something I'm working on, in a car, opening the Air is a pain for multiple stops.
1st iPad I took back as the Home button didn't work and I had no sound. No questions asked, no receipt needed, got a new one. Only problem, I made a back up to the Air, but when I got home, no backup found, so I lost some minor information. Didn't verify I had a backup. Had a backup for my 3 year-old iPhone. Got new phone and kept all my info.
So far, the best use of the iPad is a book reader, as I don't have a reading light on all night bothering someone, who has 20 nightlights or other crap burning electricity but gets upset I fall asleep with a reading light on.
Now if Amazon, Barnes & Noble & Ibooks made a better shopping experience, life would be better, as I read so much. Downside, they charge as much for an ebook as a paper book. No way. But they have some books, by my favorite authors, that have been long out of print, I never heard of the book for free.
Just read a book they must have scanned and used OCR, but nobody read/edited. Many "the" came out as "me" many "that" came out as "mat."
