They don't care about the piracy. The only care about the CP references, if you post proof of CP references and say you will report it to Visa/Mastercard they seem to shut down the billing (not because they want too, but because they are forced to because they don't want Mastercard/Visa problems)

No, things aren't that bad. I don't know if they still do it but CCBill used to bill for all the pre-teen model sites, naturist sites, etc.. a decade ago. Anyone else remember that?

As for things being "that bad for them?" ... no way to know, but there are often warning signs before a service's demise, such as slow / no pay, less processing activity (more aggressive scrubbing), change in reserve requirements / unexplained holds, rapid decrease in staff, change in the mood of employees (not necessarily to the negative - sometimes the reverse with employees suddenly being glowingly, overly optimistic like one saw with ePassporte near the end), etc.

Of course things are bad for them. No one buys paysite memberships any more. We all know that.

They would not be billing for all of these questionable sites if we were all still making sales in the traditional way.

The paysite industry is a fraction of the size it was in 2007. CCbills income was reliant on this market.

Honestly guys?? Really. do you think this board is a place to discuss business? Half of the people attacking ccbill over this dont even have a dog in the fight. So why would they open themselves up to stupid abuse.

Time and again people on GFY have proven that they can NOT control themselves and get business done. I come here for shits and giggles and news and other boards for business.

I am pissed at ccbill over that incident and have sent an email to my rep and I am quite certain I will get a reply. But this board most likely wont because of all the children in the sand box still in diapers.

Sending a DMCA notice does nothing more than initiate another game of whac-a-mole.

yep that about covers it. you call it a sandbox, i think its a toilet. its all tubenubes and broke has-been losers (ok, and around 10 people that know what they are doing). i cant remember the last time i got a sale off this joke of a board. meanwhile i get 2-5 sales a week from each of the other boards i frequent.

and, ccbill isn't going anywhere. although they probably are a bit overstaffed, considering their only real tech upgrade in 10+ years is garbage, and their support staff is new every week. if they ever had problems, they'd just cut down to essential staff and live off rebills, which im sure is more than enough to keep all the execs in expensive cars and private planes..
