Intro to the WTF part: I never really thought about this trend, until it became more and more like an invasion of these drones who all look the same. So i thought, for the fun of it lets check a huge dutch forum if anyone else noticed this. That forum has a 'complaints' subforum which is fun to read. And there were dozens of topics about this, so it's all over the country.
Now, the WTF part: Once someone wears a jacket like this, he or she somehow becomes obsessed with it. Via the forum i stumbled upon videos of teens who film themselves in these jackets, and develop some sort of shiny plastic jacket fetish. WTF. Check this out and read the comments too, there are alot of these freaks.
