Not sure I understand what you mean, like you had a step child and then broke up with the parent? If so yes.

Example: You have a son or daughter. They'd been going out with someone for several years, and then a breakup occurs.

Oh... no lol, my daughter turns 6 next month and my step daughter is 11. If either starts dating in the next say.... 20 years I'll be bashing skulls :1orglaugh

My daughter got a divorce, so I guess that qualifies. Except, I did not really like the guy.
