How much do you spend on coffee beverages a year?

Sounds outrageous but I go to my favorite coffee shops so frequently that it's about $1500-2000 a year. It's more of the social aspect of it as well.

Brujah 06-26-2012 09:24 AM

I spend about $192 per year on coffee.

Spunky 06-26-2012 09:24 AM

I buy those Keurig singles. probably approx 200 a year

JFK 06-26-2012 09:26 AM

about $1100 ish:disgust

Markul 06-26-2012 09:29 AM

Hold on let me just add this up...

Zero. Hate coffee.

Well, that's a lie this year... I bought a $30 bottle of Patron coffee liqueur.

What's your favorite coffee shop? I bought one of those Keurig Coffee Makers and I love it! I still go out to get coffee every now and then though...there's a nice coffee shop a few minutes from my house that is always a really chill place to hangout.

LeeD 06-26-2012 09:45 AM

I go through a bag a week, so $6 times 52 which is 312. I very rarely to to a coffee shop.

HomerSimpson 06-26-2012 09:46 AM

I'm coffee free for about year and half...
never felt better in my life...

I like the ma and pa shops. Star bucks on occasion still. I like the atmosphere, many have pretty waitresses that are college girls that I enjoy chatting with.
Sometimes you can go to a shop and watch a small gig play.

Other times it's a matter of just going through a few magazines that came in the mail (business week, Fast Company, Inc, Scientific American, etc).

I used to like coffee once in a while but I don't drink it at all anymore. Out of the blue one day it started fucking with my blood pressure or something. I would drink some and then my heart would start racing and I felt nauseous.

So $0 for me :(

baddog 06-26-2012 09:51 AM

Including what we do at home, or just away?

blonda80 06-26-2012 12:09 PM

I usually do it at home but spend enough on it if I am out

Same here. Every cup is fresh and you don't leave a half pot of coffee to lose it's flavor while you're having the first 2 cups in the morning! :thumbsup

Choopa Phil 06-26-2012 12:19 PM

0 dollars, I know once I become dependent on needing it to wake up it will be game over.

shermo 06-26-2012 12:32 PM

I spend around $40 a month on Illy espresso for the home. I spend another $10 a week on getting coffee at the local mom and pop. $950'ish give or take.

BlackCrayon 06-26-2012 12:33 PM

i don't drink it, so none.

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 06-26-2012 01:02 PM

http://www.uncanxietyclinic.com/wp-c.../Green-Tea.jpg

I switched to green tea a few years ago, and feel much healthier after the transition.

I'll still drink coffee on occasion, especially if I feel the need for a caffeine rush (plus I like the taste of fresh brewed gourmet coffee - during my coffee drinking years, I would make an entire ritual out of preparing coffee, grinding beans each morning and everything - kind of like what I do with cannabis, lol).

:drinkup

On coffee, not a cent. My fiancee probably spends around $200-$300 a year on her Tassimo bullshit or the occasional drink from Tim Horton's tho.

Mr Pheer 06-26-2012 02:19 PM

Ever since Starbucks got rid of their honey latte, I havent bought any coffee drinks for myself. And only rarely bought any for myself before then.

So, $0 for myself.

My girlfriend likes those kuerig coffees though, I'm not sure how much those are anymore. One box seems to last her quite a wile.

AmeliaG 06-26-2012 03:35 PM

Around $400. It was more like $3,500 before the economy tanked, although that sort of includes a snack with coffee in a coffeehouse.

CYF 06-26-2012 04:11 PM

I spend about 40 bucks a month, so roughly $500 a year on coffee.

LeRoy 06-26-2012 04:11 PM

About 20 bucks a year

My siggy provides the gourmet coffee all day long!

Coffee's for closers!!

Rochard 06-26-2012 05:18 PM

Zip. Zero. Notta.

I don't do coffee. At all. Only a fool is going to pay $6 for a fucking coffee.

ErectMedia 06-26-2012 08:29 PM

Coffee=$0
Monster Energy Drinks= well over $1000

Yngwie 06-26-2012 08:44 PM

I spend $0 on coffee of any kind.

marlboroack 06-27-2012 01:12 AM

10-15$ a day on Redbull...

AllAboutCams 06-27-2012 01:29 AM

about $30 per year but when im near a Starbucks its everyday

sojproductions 06-27-2012 01:34 AM

probably 4-500 bucks a year, couple of visits a week to shops, mostly drink it at home.

v4 media 06-27-2012 02:27 AM

only have 1 expresso a day,so a $5 bag of beans lasts 2 weeks, so $130 a year.

Never drink it when out.

$1500-2000 a year sounds right on the spot for me.

PiracyPitbull 06-27-2012 06:53 AM

$0 - My Keurig has been relegated to boiling water for green tea.

Sophie Delancey 06-27-2012 06:59 AM

Ergh, I've been trying to cut back. It feels like such a waste when you add it all up, plus my BF makes excellent coffee... But still, I love the cafe vibe. I'm a douche.

John-ACWM 06-27-2012 08:33 AM

That's a lot of money, I rarely drink coffee when I go out.

Scott McD 06-27-2012 08:37 AM

£0

Never even tried it before. I can't stand the smell of it...

mineistaken 06-27-2012 08:46 AM

zero on coffe, but spend about 10$ per year on tea (few 50gram dilmah bags)

JosephFM 06-27-2012 10:34 AM

$940.40 but since last month i quit coffee and now i'm spending a little more on healthy fruit smoothies.

LAJ 06-27-2012 11:19 AM

I figure I spend about $300 a year tops.
