Domain name for new site

There was so much discussed about recommendations for domain names, that they have to include keywords in the domain name,

but would you go with the word porn in the domain if you were want to compete with porn videos for example? I'm asking because many sites that got porn in the domain name weren't sucessful.

Its better to have keyword in domain than to have not. People weren't sucessful probably because they gave it up. Anyway, kw in domain doesn't grant you success. I'd never create porn domain without my main kw within.

It depends on your definition of success.

If you bought domains with "porn" in it expecting a windfall the moment you change your DNS, you're fucking stupid.

I own 2 blogs that talk about sports (football) and dedicated to a team, though the team name is not even on it, I worked out the SEO and end up in google page 1 in google.fr and floating bitwin page 1 and 5 on google.com, some articles are grabbed better than others

If the keyword you are targeting is very high competition one... then the importance in not much.. wthr to include keyword in domain name or not. However if you are targeting less competition keywords then you can choose some domain which is somewhere near keyword.

Best of luck.

There are many factors that make a site 'successful'. Keywords are definitely something to consider but depending on your skills at creatively obtaining targeted traffic keywords is just one factor.

With that said it is good if you can find a domain name with keywords in it.

Good luck!:thumbsup

I wouldn't - too explicit and hard to get.
