A model whom I have worked with a few times, Eden Alexander, blogged about being severely abused and ripped off by an alt porn producer named Blaise Christie (Electro Films, and affiliate program AltPornGold), who is now under arrest and facing charges:

The charges/allegations are all true. He's a fucking scam artist.

His MO is just as the post above describes. He fucks girls on camera and then writes a bad check to pay for the "shoot".

I know an agent here in LA who was scammed by this guy. His MO was to book the girls a few days apart and then he disappeared without paying the girls or the agent... he didn't even write bad checks. He shot in the early evening at cheap motels in Orange County, and at least a couple of the girls thought him strange.

I once answered the phone to him when I was helping out in the agent's office, and he told me his name was "Mr. Christie", which I thought was exceedingly weird.

He needs to get repeated ass fucking in jail.

I believe he is in jail currently on a bad check charge, which is why Eden and other girls who have been abused/ripped off by Blaise Christie are trying to build a larger case against him based on abuse as well.

if the allegations are true then yeah cool. HOWEVER... Eden is an big mouth attention whore and blows shit way out of proportion. I've dealt with her. I know.

I canceled a shoot with her when she first came around. I offered to pay her a kill fee and requested her bank info so I can wire her. She then blasted me for trying to hack her bank account. Then her pimp ( Pre Ideal Management ) started in on me.

So unless this guy in OC was one smooth motherfucker and judging from his looks, he sure doesn't look like it, convincing her to fly out on her dime, I find her story hard to believe. She asks 5 million questions beforehand - as she should - but, look at this guy's sites... she fell for that??? Something fishy about this one.

I know another model and a couple (porn couple w/experience) that both fell for his ruse. Seems as if there are probably over 1/2 dozen or more people he ripped off in similar fashion.

He was a smooth motherfucker, until he got caught. From the folks I've spoken to about their experiences, he was very convincing in how he selected the girls/talent he worked with and his finely crafted story about the bank/check issue. He had some pretty big balls, going so far as to actually forge the checks on bogus accounts at fictitious financial institutions. That's a Federal offense.

Whatever his religion/philosophy, the guy sounds like a total whack job and deserves to be held accountable for his crimes.

Eden is not a pushover, nor is she a delicate daisy. She does hardcore fetish work for Kink and the likes (although she is also a burlesque performer, which is what I have hired her for).

Eden is a very assertive woman (which many men in this industry dislike), so I am concerned that there are other models who are possibly too afraid to come forward and share their bad experience dealing with Blaise Christie (it sounds like the statute of limitations may have expired on older charges too, plus some girls may have left the biz after having to deal with shady people like Blaise).

We as a community need to stand up and call out people that are abusing and ripping off talent. :2 cents:

Spoke to a few models other then Eden who are here in SoCal and apparently no releases were signed and were never paid either. What is odd is his "partner" the camera man (Diamond) created a new site pulling the exact same scam and he's active on Facebook right now. Also the Electrofilms tour was just updated...yesterday?

I'm not a lawyer, and I'm not sure about the law in this case with regards to rape. I imagine the fact that the models were there to film a sex scene, will muddy up that issue, which is why the the only charges that Christie faces as the moment are for ripping off the performers for their talent fees, although it certainly sounds like not paying was part of his ploy to have sex and assault these women, and then sell the final video for his own profit, while cutting out the talent.

Yeah I am looking at this and thinking, this shit sucks but a line needs to be drawn between whether its a sex crime or a financial crime. Seems like everything he did would have been OK if his checks cleared.

Otherwise we have a situation where suddenly not paying a hooker or a model is considered rape. And don't get me wrong, its pretty bad. But rape is worse. At least I think so. I've never been raped. I've been not paid and it was pretty bad but I still feel like being raped would be worse.

I've been shooting adult content (porn if you want) for over 12 years, which is a lot in porn years, and I think as a Producer/Director that we owe more to our talent than to equate a serial abuser, with a person that simply accidentally wrote a bad check here and there.

It sounds like Blaise Christie and his accomplice used the lure of pay to actually go far beyond anything consensual, and then to make matters worse, and possibly rise to the level of rape or a hate crime, it appears that these were pre-meditated acts designed to degrade and unfairly exploit other persons (or in this case many persons), who are also people who work in this industry we share, so I think we should all feel a little concerned and want justice for our performers.

For some people, I guess it doesn't sink in until something like this happens to someone they personally know.

I personally know Eden Alexander, and I hope that she and the other girls get justice beyond making Blaise Christie simply paying back the money which he owes to Eden and the other girls whom he swindled.

I find his crimes of a much more serious nature than simply bouncing checks.

The charges against him aren't just because he didn't pay the models and shot extreme content.

He actually filmed these models under the influence in some cases providing heroine and coke before and during shoots - yes he filmed them cooking up H and for laughs had them call their family members or boyfriends - and filmed it.

The hate crimes which were filed most likely are because he presented the material in a way that it could be classified as a hate crime perhaps? I mean there is extreme stuff some of it is straight funny - (meatholes piss mops etc) but marketing scenes with the title "10 Little Ni**ers" and putting a beat down on a drunk model isn't shock porn, it's pretty fucked up.

There are a few girls on his tour who don't even remember shooting with him but are on his tour with his cock up their asses...

my understanding is without fulfillment of the contarct... i.e. getting paid... the contract is invalid and the content can't be used. this is why a releases has a line with signature/initial for compensation and why we keep receipts, canceled checks and tax papers on file.

several producers I know take a verbal statement on video, before and after the shoot, as well as scan the check... because while there are very creepy producers, there very creepy models as well. in fact only know 2 or 3 creepy producers, 1 or 2 creepy agents, but 15-20 creepy models.

and it's not rape by any means it's fraud. allegations of rape and fraud are completely separate issues. and you do realize that being a shooter in todays environment automatically make you wrong without any proof in the eyes of society. you can look at your own reaction to the allegations as an example... you are basing you views on internet message board hearsay and making assumptions.

This guy approached me wanting to shoot some of the girls I shoot and wanted to pay them ridiculous prices, way over the top, for solo girls, he gave me access to his site and I said no. He bothered me for months till I finally said to him don't call me again or will deliver a baseball bat into his shin.. He was a real pain in the ass. I hope he gets what he deserves..

if he knew the checks/cheques were not going to clear, or if he deceived people into doing work for him - and had no intention of paying them 9putting the type of work to one side) then it is fraud, all that needs to be shown is deception, and the fact that it was done a few times, if it was done once , then it could be a "mistake" or a "dispute" or a "civil matter" , but if he was doing it repeatedly and had no intention of paying anyone and using deception in order to get them to do the job then theres no doubt its a criminal matter of fraud.
