The Starbucks Revolution
 

On this 4th of July, do one thing to make a difference. Do at least 1 thing to affect change. Even if it is just in your neighborhood.

Although this looks like BS, I've always been a fan of SBUX.

At this point their coffee isn't much more expensive than a 7-11 or Dunkin' Donuts and in my opinion is significantly better.

Their CEO is outspoken and from what I know tends to have good intensions.

Starbucks is great. It forced many smaller coffee companies to shape up or ship out. Many people hate on chains but they do have beneficial effects. Adapt or die.

Guess why my favorite shop is full of college students and interesting people and a table where any single person is invited to join. Even got to meet one of America's most infamous authors.

The Starcrap across the street, the few nouveau riche get their coffee and go. Place looks like a morgue.

Oh yeah, the college kids - 90% have Mac laptops
