Desktop PC advice
 

I've had a couple Gateway FX laptops and they have always been rock solid, fast and reliable.

Thats why I am kind of interested in this for a House Desktop.

Is this a good computer? is there something else I should be looking at? What's the best and most reliable thing out there now?

I know a lot of you guys build your own machines and are super on top of whats going on in this market. So I want to ask!

I wouldn't buy a gateway. If you don't like building your own go to a site like ncix where they will custom build you a PC. You use their PC builder and just go through the list and pick every part you want right down to the model of power supply. They always end up fucking something up in those pre-built machines, whether it's a load of preinstalled bloatware, or something like a proprietary power supply that can only be replaced with a part from them.
