No special filters, however our lighting was kind of improvised. We had originally planned for a daylight / golden hour shoot, but the sun had other plans, so we did what all good porn shooters do - we made shit up on the fly. :winkwink:

We used handheld flashes that were triggered by an on-camera flash.

One of the PA's holding one of the flashes was actually a celeb who was in town visiting a regular PA of mine - Ivan played drums in the heavy metal band White Zombie (among others):

A little peek behind the scenes of porn on the cheap (we had to hike in quite a ways to where we could shoot without attracting unwanted attention):

We used the handheld flashes during dusk for fill light, and then supplemented them with two daylight balanced LED units on Sony EX-1s, which created some cool lighting effects - and attracted lots of bugs (although other cameras were used as well, including my first toying with the GoPro).

Ivan was totally cool, and fun to hang out with. I treated everyone to sushi after the shoot. :winkwink:
