Anyone seen Charlie Sheens new show "Anger Management" ?
Any good?
Shawnee Smith is quite an actress
I saw it.
I'm not a fan of sitcoms to begin with.
The fake studio audience laughing drives me crazy. |
I have not. I have been curious if it is any good or not. I recently read a Rolling Stone piece on Charlie and he has a sweetheart deal with the show. FX agreed to make 10 episodes. If those episodes achieve a certain ratings level then they automatically greenlight 96 more episodes. I would guess if at any time during those 96 they want to cancel the show they will still have to pay him as if they were shot.

They say it's good but not good as 2 and half man.I guess they should bring jon cryer too.
Who cares!
I didn't :pimp

I thought it was pretty good

It looks like she doesn't move her facial muscles at all during her "act". At the other hand Selma Blair looks hot in her 40's acting Charlies fuck friend. |

He start insulting Jon how he forgets his lines wile filming the show |
Not yet.

Watched it, pretty funny, gonna keep watching it.
His ex on the show is the gal whom played the ditzy nurse on Becker back in early 2000
I liked it.
I saw the first episode, and didn't find it funny.
This is what happens when a bunch of suits get together and try to create a show around a star. A good comedy TV show is usually directly from the brain of one sick, twisted genius --- Seinfeld, Louie, Community. It's not cooked up by a bunch of people who assemble a team hoping to make something funny. |

i tried to watch Community and couldnt see any humor in that at all - maybe it was the dubbing
The first two episodes sucked it.

Sheep Show:2 cents: |
Not as funny as the Charlie era Two And A Half Men, but way funnier than Two And A Half Men is nowadays. I think it has potential, hopefully it keeps getting better.

My cable company had the first three episodes of Anger Management on demand so I watched them last night. I don't know that I will be watching any more. There were a couple of big laughs, but for the most part it was pretty lame. Stereotypical characters and jokes you see coming from a mile away.
To me the best part of the first few shows was Brian Austin Green who played Charlie's ex-wife's younger boyfriend. He had a funny gimmick, but beyond that there weren't many laughs. |

I also find Parks and Rec to be pretty good for network comedies. |
I saw the first episode. It's okay, has some potential. The canned laughter was really annoying though.
