DatingGold to Launch First BBW Dating Brand at BBWFanfest
 

STOCKTON, Calif.? Adult dating affiliate program DatingGold.com has announced its expansion into the BBW dating market. HookupBBW.com, the company's first dedicated BBW dating brand, will see its official release at this weekend's BBWFanfest in Las Vegas.

A departure from the program's other adult dating brands, such as AmateurMatch.com, Untrue.com and XXXDating.com, HookupBBW.com was developed following a marketing test DatingGold.com ran with a leading affiliate network.

"What stood out to us was the loyalty we saw in the members to the BBW site," said DatingGold.com founder and CEO, Allan Henning. "We saw above average conversions and member retention, which lead us to believe the adult dating sector was ready for a dedicated BBW dating brand."

In April, the company recruited adult industry marketing veterans Sarah Jayne Anderson and Tofu De la Moore. In addition to their affiliate marketing experience, the pair brought expert knowledge of both the adult BBW market and the BBW community to the research and development process of HookupBBW.com.

"I was impressed with DatingGold's commitment to developing a quality BBW product,' Anderson stated, "I've seen lots of companies miss the mark with their BBW products because they didn't research the market well enough to know they needed to address the desires of their surfers with respect rather than ridicule."

De la Moore, himself a fat admirer or FA, added his view on the importance of having a marketing team familiar with the BBW community. "It only makes sense to have community insiders behind the curtain," he said, "Without that element in place, it resembles a bunch of kittens trying to sell you the best dog collars."

DatingGold.com is demonstrating its commitment to developing a quality adult BBW Dating brand by scheduling the official launch of HookupBBW.com to coincide with BBWFanfest. Anderson and De la Moore will be attending the event, which takes place July 12-15 at the Tuscany Suites and Casino in Las Vegas.

If by "first" you actually mean "last", you might be on to something. No-one even thought of having a dating site dedicated to BBW before. Good job being first!

Wild guess: There will be about a half million extremely nasty fake profiles posted twelve hours after launch.

Garce- the first for our company. However, unique in that it has been developed within the BBW community rather than outsiders guessing at lingo, preferences, etc. Even down to all the lander pages photos being shot by a photographer whose expertise is shooting BBWs and the women on the first round of landers being known members of the community.

Well, there is the possibility that it was more to do with personalities rather than anything. However, I know many men who simply need a big woman to get turned on. It is just how they work. Just as many more men need a thinner woman.

Dimensions was one of the first BBW magazines I ever saw and it actually played a very important part in my own development and emergence into the community as a teen.

However, that survey was from 1998 even before there was much of an online BBW world/community. Since then, there has been a large growth (pun not so much intended) in the community. I don't think people suddenly started being attracted to large women but more they are less hidden about it. In 1998, they pretty much had to know about the offline 'scene' in order to know the term 'FA' and it was still pretty underground then.

That survey also don't take into consideration those who aren't hardcore into BBWs but who are flexible.

Mind you, even if it was just ten percent, that would a nice chunk of the population.

Could have been a 20 year itch. They were getting along great and then bam. Even 15 years later my Mom can't figure it out. Then again he did magically run into his first girlfriend the night he left and they've been married a dozen years. Maybe he was seeing her for awhile. He'll never cop to it though.
