How to promote a new site?
 

I have a website and I almost finished the adult web directory I will open soon.

I'm facing the same problems with both: how can I build links toward them when nobody wants link exchange with a new site and nobody will submit their link to my web directory if it's empty?

Who says go only for link building,try article submission,forum posting and social book marking too.

Link Exchange is successful,if you have good PR,until you don't have good PR, it is very hard that anyone will exchange link with your site.

Promote it on forums !!! It is the best. Because people are searching for websites where they can submit their websites for free.
