While that in itself is horrid, it has little pertinence to the charges for which he is being tried.

I agree with you that if this is true it is horrid, but I disagree that it has no pertinence on his current case.

The way it looks much of his case is going to come down to his credibility. Based on the 911 calls we know how things started between he and Martin and we know how it ended. Unless there are witnesses or evidence that shows otherwise the big question is what happened after he hung up with the 911 dispatcher that led to the fight and the shooting. This means it will basically be his word and whether or not people believe him.

We have already seen he is willing to lie to the court about money in order to make bail and if these allegations pan out they show him as a guy who is capable of some seriously fucked up stuff and a guy who can lie and intimidate people. That could seriously harm his credibility in this case.

If these allegations are true, regardless of how they affect this case, it looks like Zimmerman's legal problems may be far from over.

How is that tainting the jury pool?
Zimbo has had plenty of people speak up for him and his side of the story is all over the news.

The dead guy doesn't even get to tell his side of the story, so somebody has to
point out how fucked up zimbo is in the head.

There is no reason to defend zimbo anymore; but people are stuck on it because
they made up their minds too early and now can't let go of it.

No racist cop (Furhman) had a formal complaint filed against him for making threats
to the suspect(OJ) years before the crime.

No cop got convicted of felony pergury for lying on the wittness stand except in the
OJ case.

We were driving and I thought I heard that on the radio over the chatter of the people in my car and figured I heard it wrong. Its all over the Florida news and where will the trial be held? Florida.

Because the "alleged" charges could predispose a jury to view the defendant in a negative light. Now you have a jury judging wether or not a sexual predator committed the crime against Travon. Big difference and maybe enough to sway the votes of those who are undecided. :2 cents:

She's already testified and whoever ends up on that jury will have already heard what she had to say.

I think you under-estimate the process and give John Q Public way too much credit when it comes to current events.

From what I read these are only people that were talked to by the DA. They call her #9 due to the circumstances of her involvement. But even if everything in your mind was true, not every witness that is desired by either party is automatically allowed to testify, and even then not everything they want to say is admissible.

You are assuming a lot. Mostly you are assuming that the molestation claim is the
focus of how she would be a witness.

Her point is not neccessarily that she was molested; but instead she was intimidated by him.

Can she testify that Zimbo has an aggressive intimidating personality that never changed
over a decade?

If Zimbo is going to have character witnesses to state the contrary them I would
expect a rebuttal to be allowed and that would be her testimony.

Example :

Q: Did Zimbo ever intimidate you?
A: yes/no

Q: Did you do things out of fear of Zimbo?
A: yes/no

Q: How long did this fear last?
A: (time frame)

No mention of molestation in those questions.
