January industry events - A little too much?

Am I the only one thinking that these events could have been planned a little better?

That is why some bigger companies traditionally spend the better part of Jan. in Vegas.

Personally, too much for me. After a few days at any conference I am ready to come home.

I've had my BRO drinks. Caught up with friends. Met some new faces. Saw a lot of the same faces.

Oh... and by then I have had my yearly allotment of cigarette smoke, and caught the annual Vegas flu.

That seems excessive. For smaller companies, it means booking off the better part of a month. Not always awesome for business.

I feel the same way, minus the smoke ;-)

are these all in vegas?

That's right i totally forgot that but it's also another good reason, at least for us, to go to Vegas.

You forgot the AVN Expo January 16-19 in Las Vegas, right after Internext!

Nice! They changed the dates from the 20-22. Two great shows in Vegas at the same time :thumbsup

Actually, now that the Affiliate Summit West and we have changed our dates, you can get a lot done in just one week:

4 shows (1 mainstream, 2 adult, 1 dating) in only 1 week ... quick in and out ... and back to the office... :)
