do kids today care about nasa/space?

I am the space shuttle generation (born in 1973). thus i was excited by the space shuutle even before it was real as 007 had them and so did buck rogers.

even today i get excited about any space stuff from nasa. and now china and india are blasting into space too.

its all very exciting.

but i wonder if kids today care. for instance they are now next year doing space holidays,

i think it sucks if your a kid today.

i dont know why Russia dont have rovers in space? is this all studio illusion served to us?

no, they don't care about it at all because we have successfully made it boring. We went from extreme pilots shooting to the moon to lab experiments with worms a few hundred miles from earth. The only space shows on tv are end of the world scenarios that just cause children to either shit their pants or change the channel and find something else. science fiction movies are all action based or horror movies now so no inspiration there either. I have nothing against a good action movie but they don't all have to be rambo in space.

space is dead, and we have killed it.
