I'd like to have one here, I have a 10k sq ft lot. But it gets so hot I think anything in the pond would die.

We have a lake behind our house. No need for a pond.

My best friend builds them, anything from small koi ponds to 10 acre lakes. Makes a damn good living too.

Have a waterfall to keep the water circulating and plant trees around it to give it shade. Its peacefull to sit outside by a pond and waterfall and if u put lights in it or around the water fall it makes a great place at night time to just relax without the TV
