Got a new ride - Electric

The new building I purchased is killing me. 12 acres under roof is too much walking. So I broke down and got an EZ-GO. All the building mechanicals are operational now and we are starting the move. This is picture is of about 1/4 of the plant empty. In a few months I'll post another with everything in, and hopefully running.

Sounds like a great chance to get a lot of exercise to me.

BIGTYMER 07-19-2012 11:59 AM

Damn that building is huge. :)

Nice to have a huge area to work in

Tom_PM 07-19-2012 12:57 PM

Plastics production?

12 acres is too much for walking exersize!
That'd be more like torture running around that place on foot.

JamesChoopa 07-19-2012 02:38 PM

What is it that you need 12 acres of space for?

xNetworx 07-19-2012 02:56 PM

My buddy has one of these and its awesome to drive up and down the mountain (paved streets) with chicks when we are blasted

XSAXS 07-19-2012 03:02 PM

Dude, I don't know who the fuck you are, but here are some mad props to you. Anyone that lives to own a 12 acre building is doing something right. Awesome.

We are a manufacturing company with a metals and a plastics division. The plastics division molds very large parts. Our largest machine could mold the body for a VW Bug.

The building is larger than we need today. Of the 452,000sq ft of manuifacturing space we are going to be using 300,000 of it. The remaining space is being leased. We already have two companies under contract to move in to that space.

Since I bought the place I have been walking it until a few days ago. I lost nearly 10 pounds in the last month and I really didn't need to lose any. Everything in this place is aerobic...

I like the golf cart..

I am sure he will upgrade now

candyflip 07-19-2012 03:20 PM

I often work in a movie studio that is an old Kodak factory that has had part of it reconditioned for use as a studio. The rest of the build is just as it was.

One of these would come in handy. I think there's like 80+ acres of buildings.

shake 07-19-2012 04:31 PM

Love the factory. I would be great to play with machines instead of sitting at the computer all day.

L-Pink 07-19-2012 04:40 PM

I just put a new roof on a 14,400 sq ft warehouse I have ..... If it was 12 acres I would have shot myself in the face. :1orglaugh

.

Minte, send me an email if your new building has railroad access. Totally outside of my business, have a close friend looking for a large space to store steel in the Midwest.

Brad

I wish we still had rail access here. We purchase the raw plastic in rail car from Mobil/Exxon in Texas and it has to be stored at a rail siding on the Mississippi River and then shipped to us by tanker truck. It adds over 6 cents a pound.

John-ACWM 07-20-2012 09:34 AM

LOL guess you're gonna buy the mini Ferrari now :1orglaugh

RebelR 07-20-2012 12:09 PM

While its empty, its the perfect time to buy a go-kart.

pornguy 07-20-2012 12:34 PM

I dont think I need that much space for my two laptops.

:)

I don't even know what that is.

epitome 07-20-2012 07:36 PM

Jesus as a kid I had to cut our 2 acres and it took 4 hours by tractor. Can't even imagine 12 acres of building.

The lawn here would've been your worst nightmare. The building is 12 acres under roof. The yard is 48.2 acres.

X_X_ROB_X_X 07-21-2012 04:44 AM

So whats the going rate these days for a 12 acre building with a 48 acre yard? I may have to bust out my piggy bank and get me one too.. :thumbsup

seeme 07-21-2012 04:57 AM
