Whats the most affective way to get a certain niche of followers on twitter,
I'm slowly but surely growing my following but... that's the thing... Slowly...

Follow me on twitter - links on your blog etc. At least to get started. If your tweets are good you'll get more followers in time.

or cheat and buy the followers. but shake is 100% right. and if you are bloging etc about a certain model mention them. alot retweet that shit which will help you as well

I use very targeted hash tags. I also research people with a lot of followers (but who are following few people - this is key since many twitter software tools use a "follow me and I follow you" method) who constantly tweet about my niche. I then engage them in @ conversations. Even if they don't follow me, their @ tweet back to me gets the attention of their followers.

Yeah, Wasn't really looking to buy them, I have almost 4k but aiming for the moon :)

If you already have 5k I'd focus on great tweets with your picture updates and things. Try to get people active and re-tweeting stuff. That's what is great about social marketing after all :2 cents: Get your followers doing the work for you.
