While the M3 program conducts basic research and is not focused on specific military missions, the technology it aims to develop could have a wide range of potential military applications.

anyone can run 10mph on a treadmill, just pick your feet up higher. i have a fat friend who claims he runs 8 minute miles on a tread mill but gets winded after walking 3 blocks and needs to rest. IMO, that doesn't prove it can do much :2 cents:

In a few generations, these robots will have us working in mines -- and the only break you'll get is when BigDog needs his choad licked behind the rock crusher.

They only look creepy cuz of their exteriors. Put nicer exteriors on them and people would appreciate the technology powering them even more. Still, we're quite a long ways from robots becoming the newest household appliances like PCs. many people are predicting that.... Kinda too soon, I think.
